Dad. You know the saying "To know him was to love him"? Well, with Daddy, "To MEET him was to love him". What a charming stinker !

The words have not been invented yet, to describe my Dad. He was bursting at the seams with personality. He truly broke the mold when he was born. A country boy. Loved to laugh, loved to fish, loved us, loved Mom, loved life, loved living. He was a mess, and was absolutely addicted to fishing. Full of an old-time type of wisdom, and you had to stop and listen for it. At his funeral viewing, a young man, a stranger, stopped me simply to tell a member of the family that my Dad had saved his life. I know how Dad did it, but cannot say. That's my Dad. No doubt he's fishing in Heaven with Sonny, Robert, Damion, Judy and Mom right now, and Mom's fussing about having to clean up the mess LOL. No the circle won't be broken.
