"God made a wonderful Mother,
A Mother who never grew old,
He gave her a smile of sunshine,
And molded a heart into gold.
He made her so like an angel,
As anyone ever could be.

God made a wonderful Mother,
Then gave that Mother to me.

Eternal rest give unto her, O, Lord,
And let perpetual light shine upon her.

May she rest in peace..."
