Albert was born in Arkansas. He was the eldest son of James Henry Lampman and Mary Elizabeth Wilson. The Lampman family moved to Mills County, Texas around 1910 where AI (as he was known) met the beautiful Rosa Lee Robinson. AI and Rosa Lee made their home as farmers in Mills County, TX, Tarrant County, TX and finally settling in Alvarado, Johnson County, TX where they were faithful servants to the Lord. Every Sunday, when visitors came to Alvarado to go to church, they would stay and break bread with the Lampman family.

AI and Rosa Lee had 5 children: Vernon Lee, Nedra Olline, Lawrence Henry, Edward Isaac
and Vivian Jean. By all accounts, Rosa Lee was a fine mother, housekeeper, cook and seamstress, and in doing so her eyes were always on the Lord. These were happy times for the family. Fate had other plans for the family. Rosa died in 1935 of cancer.

Even though his beloved wife was gone, AI never strayed from his Christian beliefs. The Lord brought another Christian woman to AI by the name of Myrtle Ozella Riley. AI was Ozella's Sunday School teacher at the church they both attended for many years. AI and Ozella were soon married and had two children: Albert Isaac, Jr and Gladys Virginia. Life went on for the Lampman family with Ozella playing host to visiting families on the weekends of worship and fellowship.

AI and Ozella had the kind of marriage to which we all aspire. They were married 35 years until AI's death in 1970. Ozella did not remarry nor did she remove her wedding band until her death in 1993.
