In the 2rd picture to the right, Daddy is 77 years old, Kara is 7 and Cincinnati is 1.

My parents are people to be proud of. They were farmers who worked hard and loved their work. I was able to get my first loan because my father was a wonderful man. I went to the bank, applied for the loan, and it was approved when they asked who my father was. It wasn't because he was some big shot in the community but because he was an honest and respected man.

Daddy and Moma never put up a Christmas tree or did all the Christmas decorations. The first time we put a tree up was when my niece was going to have her second Christmas. Moma and I went and bought decorations and I had Daddy go with me to chop down a tree. A year later, I wasn't at home to have him go get a tree with me and he went and got it by himself. I don't know if his family decorated for Christmas and if not, that may be why they didn't.

Otto Wiese was born in Pipestone Minnesota to Richard Rudoph Wiese and Ottilie (Schmidt)Wiese. His family came to El Reno Oklahoma In 1910 and farmed southwest of town. He attended Pleasant Grove rural school and was raised in the Lutheran church. He married Anna Wiese April 12, 1942. They moved to Wewoka Oklahoma in 1958 where they raised cattle and had a pecan farm. They had 3 children, Susan, Darlene and Mary. He retired from farming in 1970 and moved back to El Reno. He attended the Lutheran church until he was in his 70's and then joined the Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rudolph Wiese and Ottilie (Schmidt) Wiese. Brothers Emil C., Richard J., and Rudolph R. Sisters, Ann Vogel and Frieda Sander. His granddaughter, Rona Ann Silva and his son-in-law, Raymond Harjo

Patricia Veech-Cocurullo has such a big heart, that not only did she sponsor my Dad's memorial but also my Mom's. So I wish to thank her immensely.
