Patricia K. Brammer, of Seattle, died on December 29, 2007. She was 75 years old. She was born Patricia Katherine Svinth in Tacoma on April 10, 1932, the daughter of Niels Daniel Svinth (1907 - 1980) and Mary Patricia Burke Martin (1910 - 1985). She was raised by a combination of relatives. They included: maternal grandmother Miriam Gertrude (Carter) Martin (1871 - 1958), maternal aunt Virginia Bisson (1898 - 1972), uncle Bill Bisson (1896 - 1978), step-father James Petrie (1900-1977) and paternal grandmother Mary Edna (Binder Morgan) Svinth (1887 - 1963). Her ancestors include: Nisqually Indians, Hudson Bay Company employees, Danish immigrants, and a long line of medical doctors from Ontario. After attending two years as a boarding student, she graduated from Aquinas Academy in Tacoma as part of the Class of 1950. She was set-up with a blind-date for a school dance with her future husband Richard Arnold Brammer. They were married on January 26, 1951. She worked for many years at Boeing as an inspector, retiring in 1992. She was an accomplished oil painter and leaves us a tangible legacy of beautiful paintings. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2003 and a daughter, Teresa M. Brammer, in 2001. She is survived by a son, Richard A. Brammer, Jr. of Seattle, and three daughters: Mary P. Briggs of Shelton; Nancy L. Sager of Gresham, Oregon; and Jean E. Lloyd of Vancouver, Washington. She is survived by seven grandchildren: David Oliver, Richard Cooley, Brian Brammer, Jessica Sager, Robert Sager, Rosie Lloyd and Patrick Lloyd. She is also survived by a paternal aunt, Cecelia Carpenter of Tacoma. Her ashes will be buried at Bethany Lutheran Cemetery in Spanaway, were numerous family members are also buried.
