Alison Paige Davis, 9 years old, of Anderson, Mo., departed this life suddenly on Sunday, June 8, 2008, at the Freeman Hospital in Neosho, Mo., from injuries sustained by being struck by a motor vehicle.

Alison entered this life on Nov. 17, 1998, at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan., born to Isaac and Blanche (McClelland) Davis. She resided in Kansas City until moving to Anderson, Mo., in 2007 with her mother and three brothers. Alison had just completed the 3rd grade at Anderson Elementary. She was a very sweet spirited and bright young girl. Alison enjoyed all the things that make a girl; she loved dancing, fixing her hair, reading and drawing pretty pictures. She was saved and baptized in the Metropolitan Baptist Temple in Kansas City, Kan. Alison had many friends and was famous for her winning smile and the beautiful sound of her laughter. While Alison was only on this earth for a short time, she impressed everyone with her personality and charisma. Her memory will carry on and her family finds peace in the knowledge that she is being held by her Heavenly Father. Alison will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends and they look forward to their reunion.

Alison is survived by her parents, Blanche Davis of the home and Isaac Davis of Kansas City, Mo.; three brothers, Devon Davis, Phillip Davis and Kamal Jett; and sister A'Ieshah Scott; maternal grandfather, Tony McClelland of McPherson, Kan.; maternal great-grandfather, Dixon Steadman of Chase, Kan.; several aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as a host of other family and friends.
