Milton W. Lund was born in Norway, Michigan, but was raised in Portland Oregon. He enlisted in the Marine Corps during World War I in 1918 and was in the Military Police. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in Multnomah Co., Oregon. He received his US Marine basic training in US Marine Mare Island, California. He meet his wife Elizabeth Hilda Lambert while in the Marine Corps and were married August 21, 1921 in Bremerton, Kitsap Co., Washington.

MILTON W. LUND

Milton W. Lund known as "Bud" to many Bremertonians and who worked as a pipe-fitter in the navy yard for many years, died at his home, 1110 Marguertie ave. yesterday.

He was born in Norway, Mich., May 29, 1898 and had been a resident of Bremerton for the past 25 years. Surviving are his wife, Lucille; a son, Robert of the U.S. Army; two daughters, Betty of Seattle and Lorna of Bremerton, and a brother who resides in Oregon.

Funeral services under the direction of the Lewis Funeral Chapel, will be held Monday night at 7:30 p.m. The Rev. Bowerman will be officiating minister. Internment will follow at Ivy Green cemetery.
