Kunegunda Piatek Worwa died much too soon, on Sunday, October 19th at the age of 39.

In October of 1930, Kunegunda suffered a heart attack at home while chasing her 2-year-old daughter through the house, trying to brush her hair, and died at Minneapolis General Hospital, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota a day or two later. Kunegunda was 7 1/2 months pregnant at the time of her death.
Kunegunda was survived by her husband Joseph, her five children and unknown relatives and friends. She is buried in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
