Grandpa was a tough "Old Buzzard". It is hard to describe a man that looked like a 50 year old weight lifter when he was in his 70's and a 60 year old playboy in his 80's. He loved to fish and went out almost daily. He loved to dance and was so graceful it was like watching someone float on air.

Most of all he loved his family. He cared for and raised his daughters and then he cared for and raised many of his grandchildren. His grandson, Baba, was not expected to survive his first year. Due solely to grandpa's diligent care, Baba survived to celebrate 33 birthdays.

Grandpa danced with me a week before he died. He could hear music in his head and it was playing for him as he slipped away to wait for us on the other side.

Note: Pop's axact birthdate is unknown. He had a few dates he liked to celebrate and, make sure presents were included.
