Tony Plank gave endlessly and tirelessly to those less fortunate his entire life. His father passed away when he was young, and at the age of 14, he went out and got a job to help support his mother. As an adult, a lot of his effort went to support of St. Joseph's orphanage, trying to give as much as he could. As he grew older, he became the President of the Police Captain's Association of Cincinnati, where he spent countless hours each year on their annual golf outing where they raise money for the inner city children of Cincinnati. The outing has been officially renamed The Annual Tony Plank Memorial Golf Outing in his honor. He was a well liked man, a wonderful husband, a doting father, and a beloved grandfather.
