My mother was the oldest of 5 children to a WWII Veteran and retiree of 42 years with Bethlehem Steel. She was always known as a pretty, yet humble girl with many skills and talents.

She was taken from this Earth at a very young age- too soon as far as I'm concerned. She wasn't there to see most of her grandchildren except for her oldest, and only briefly. She wasn't around when I needed advice on how to raise a family and to be a good parent and father.

She's been gone so long now I can't remember what her voice sounded like which makes me sad, but I know she is looking down on my family and I and smiling. And as long as she is in my heart, she is still here.
