Franciska Gojmericz Binder (Frances Binder).
She was born October 10th 1888 in Hungary. Married to Josef Binder in Hungary. Mother of Mary, Anna, Francis, Josephine, Magdalene, and Joseph as well as two children who died in infancy, Anton and Eva.

Josef came to America first in 1910. Then one year later, Francis and Anna came to America on the Carpathia, the ocean liner famous for saving the remaining Titanic survivors in 1912.

Frances lived in Milwaukee where they ran a grocery store and lived upstairs. Frances and Josef spoke broken English and mostly spoke German in the household. My father knew her as "Oma".
