Henry grew up in Doon, Iowa area. In 1946, he was united in marriage to Susie Smidstra. He was a farmer and member of the Christian Reformed Church in Luverne, Minnesota. Henry died at age 39, due to an incurable kidney disease. He left behind his wife of 15 years and four children: Shirley Joan, Henry Charles, Roger Dean, and David LeRoy. Blessed be his memory.
