He was in the Army in WWII, he was a Technican Fifth Grade,he was awarded the Eameto Good Conduct Med, World War II Victory Med., he was Discharged with Honors on Nov. 6, 1945. His campaigns were Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno, he also served in Africa and Italy. The son of Charles Homer and Bessie Hartley. Father to Barbara Gail Hartley-Sedillos.
