Linda M. (DeSilvio) Farnsworth, of Shirley, formally of Littleton died at her home on March 30, after a long battle with Cancer. She was born in Ayer on December 3, 1944 daughter of Samuel and Viola (LaPierre) DeSilvio. She grew up in Littleton and was a graduate of Littleton High School, Class of 1962. Linda then graduated from Regis College in Weston with a Bachelors Degree in English. She moved to El Segundo, California where she taught at the high school level. Linda returned to the Littleton area and worked as a Publishing Director for PennWell Publishing Company for over 30 years. Most recently she owned and operated the Generous Heart gift shop in Groton. Mrs. Farnsworth was a devoted member of St. Anne's Church in Littleton where she was a Lector, Treasurer of St. Anne's Sodality and a member of the Church Council. She loved to read, garden, and spend time with her grandchildren. Linda always spread warmth, wisdom and kindness and faced her illness with enormous courage, dignity, and grace. Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband Thomas Farnsworth, former husband James Wright, a son, two stepchildren, and two sisters.
