David S. Losee was my great grandfather. He was the son of Samuel & Lydia (Newman) Losee. On January 15, 1862 he was married to Elizabeth Ann ("Libbie") Hill at her father's home in Coxsackie, NY.
The couple had two children: Ella A. (born in 1866) and Irving Hill (born in 1870). David owned and
operated a small store in Grapeville, NY. He was also a Justice of the Peace in Greenville, NY around
1908. Once he had retired, and was a widower, he and his daughter Ella (who had never married) moved
to Albany to be closer to Irving and his family.

Note - year of death on gravestone is incorrect!
