Funeral services for Mrs. Walter Bick will be held Thursday, July 14, at the chapel of the Barkley Funeral home in Canton, with the Rev. Roy Griggs, pastor of the Canton Christian church, in charge. Music will be furnished by Allen Schork with Mrs. Earl Barkley at the organ. Pall bearers will be Wayne Clark, Frederick McCollister, Norman Roach, John N. Kirchner, J. W. Clark and Clarence Kirchner. Burial will be in Forest Grove cemetery. Mrs. Bick died Monday, July 11, in St. Mary hospital in Quincy, where she had been a patient only a few hours. Winifred Bick, the daughter of Samuel and Irene Harding Thompson, was born near Rankin, Ill., on February 12, 1888. She was united in marriage to Walter T. Bick at Kahoka on April 18, 1910. To this union two children were born. She was a member of the Christian church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Henry Logsdon of Canton; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a brother, Clark Thompson of Kahoka; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter; and 10 brothers and sisters.
