Beloved Husband of the late Margaret (nee Byrne): father of Mrs Elizabeth Frey, Mrs. Agnes Burke, John and Joseph Speary; also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Speary was born in Newark, New Jersey on March 11, 1871 to Catherine and Casper Speary.
He moved to Nutley at the age of 31.
He was employed for 40 years by the Nutley Board of Education as the Truant Officer and later the maintenance man. He retired in 1947 at the age of 75.
Interment Saint Mary's Cemetery in East Orange, New Jersey.
