Louise Armstrong was the wife of John Porter Armstrong. She lived most of her adult life in Dodge County, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Arthur McDowell and Nancy Jelly who came from Ireland. She was the mother of Edna Belle (Armstrong) Bryan and Harry Joe (twins) and another set of twins Lester A and Leslie W and two other daughters, Laura A and Frances May.
