She was working in a restaurant as a cook at nights and residing at 1924 Q Street, Lincoln, when she divorced in 1952.

Married Willard Bryce Wilson, of this union three children were born.
She began her married life with Willard in Sheridan, Wyoming where he worked on a Ranch, then to North Platte, Nebraska to another ranch, where she worked again in another restaurant as a cook.
They then returned to Lincoln, Nebraska to the Bethany Neighborhood to a home at 6347 Lexington Ave. where Twelve people lived in the household and which was hit by a bolt of lighting in 1960. Again Martha was working in a restaurant.

Owner of McCool Locker and Cafe in McCool Junction, Nebraska & Skelley's Crossroad Cafe Truck Stop at the I-80 Exit 353 at York, Nebraska until 1976. It was open 24 / 7, 365. Martha always worked the Graveyard shift, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The building still stands today as a Shell Station and Crossroads Restaurant. She was also skilled at "Butchering" meat.
Owner of The Rio Grande Motel in Del Norte, Colorado and leased and ran Lubin's Malt Mart in Del Norte for several years, serving up American and Mexican cuisine, and man, did she ever make a Mean Green Chili,
HOT, HOT, HOT!!

She enjoyed *Grandchildren*!! baking, crocheting, going to Yard Sales, Horse Races & traveling when she had the time, going mostly by automobile or bus (Trailways) as she didn't drive and she had a terrible fear of flying. She took a round trip in her life, Nov. / Dec. 1973 from her home in Nebraska to Virginia and back, on United Airlines, First Class, she never flew again.

She once told me that some of hers favorite trips were when she would travel to Virginia to see her daughter, Mary and grandkids and we would all go and spend a few days at Virginia Beach. She so enjoy going to the beach..."Life is a Beach"!

She had several trips to Canada.

She always had pets, Cats, Dogs and Horses. When I was a child she had a Blue Parakeet, named Petey.

She made the most DELICIOUS Cinnamon Rolls with Melted Frosting. YUMMIE!!!

Everyone called her Grandma, and 100% Grandma she WAS! Still miss her terribly.

Mrs. Wilson was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Cause of Death: Blood Clot, was recovering from a battle with Lung Cancer. After having radiation treatments, it loosen a clot and it went into her lung and cause death. She passed away at home in the early evening.
