Artist and Architect. He came to this country from Venice, Italy, in 1927 after being educated at the "Royal Acadamie of Arts" in Europe. He served his country in the Army Air Corps in WWII where he was a topographical map maker. He designed and decorated hundreds of churches in his career, and, in 1961, was commissioned by the Vatican to paint the official portrait of "Pope John XXIII." That mural hangs in the Vatican museum today.
