SPECIAL THANK YOU TO GuitaristMom for the BEAUTIFUL RESTORATION picture of Little Angel George... GOD BLESS YOU DEAR FRIEND...

My Great-Aunt Peggy lived to be in her early 90's and was very bitter her entire lifetime. This is understandable now as I am older. Great-Aunt Peggy did not like little children to be anywhere around her. We had to stay in the car when we were small and my Mother would take her grocery shopping and to the doctor (Dr. Godfrey in Dallas). As she aged, I took over those grocery, doctor rounds. God Bless her Broken Heart.

Little George had an older sister, Baby Nancy - tiny Nancy Ellan Konieczny born in 1929 and joined her in Heaven 1935.

~~~~~~
Baby Divine
Fashioned of sunshine, of flowers and dew,
eyes of the starshine, tender and true,
tipped tilted nose, tiny pink toes,
soft dimpled chin, neath a mouth like a rose,
dear loving arms, holding for caress,
gold, tousled head, pressing close to my breast,
warm fragrant lips, clinging sweetly to mine,
God given, soul riven, baby divine.
Low Cooing voice, like the note of a dove,
whispering to Mother, soft words of love.
Two drooping eyes, fluttering sighs,
Wafted to dreamland on Love's Lullabies.
Close I hold Thee, tight in my arms,
May God keep and guard thee safe from alarms,
Watch o'er thee kindly His hand in thine,
part of me baby divine,
