Kristie lived life to its fullest, in just 15 short years, she did more and gave more than most people do in a lifetime. She loved her family and enjoyed wonderful times with her father Mark, her mother Candy, her brother Steven, and her beloved Chihuahuas Sassy and Chance. She had a passion for basketball and track and was an inspiration to her teammates. Kristie, our hearts are filled with your joyful spirit.
Matthew 6:25-34
On January 22, 2002, Kristie and her family were traveling to her high school basketball game. They never made it to the game. The Prianos became innocent bystanders when their family van was hit during a police chase to catch a teenager who was driving her mother's car without permission. Kristie, just 15, did not recover from her injuries. Instead, she went home to be with the Lord on January 28, 2002.
Her family obviously loves her and misses her tremendously. When I was at this cemetery taking pictures for Find-A-Grave photo requests and I came across her headstone and the beautiful display on her grave, I had to take a picture of it to put on Find-A-Grave as a tribute to her and to her family's love.
