A veteran of World War II Mr Graves was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries sustained in battle. After the war he worked at General Shoe in Hohenwald, Tn until he was able to find work at the Ford Glass plant where he worked until he retired in 1982. Mr. Graves was a long time member of Calvary United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing, gardening, and playing with his grandchildren.

Mr Graves was preceded in death by his wife of 62__ years, Betty, parents Bud & Estalee Graves, brothers Harold Neal, Naymond, Bobby and Gene and sisters Ina Lou Hurt, and Betty Sue Grimes/Griner. He is survived by children Pamela Landgraf (Scott), Rick Graves (Lori) and sisters Oneita Loveless, Faye Willis _________ and Doris Baker and grandchildren Meredith and Carson Elton. He is also survived by his faithful golden retriever, Minnie Pearl. Services to be conducted Thursday February 29th at McDonald Funeral Home in Hohenwald, TN
