Hendricus Bartholomeus ORIE,was born December 27th.1889 in WASSENAAR-HOLLAND.
He was the Son of Doris ORIE and Jacoba REMMERSWAAL.
October 19th.1911 He signed as Volunteer in the DUTCH EAST INDIES ARMY(K.N.I.L.)
December 2th.1911 He left the Harbour of ROTTERDAM on the Steamship"OPHIR"on his way to the DUTCH EAST INDIES,a Dominion of HOLLAND in that time.
He arrived January 6th.1912 in BATAVIA in the DUTCH EAST INDIES.
Now the Republic INDONESIA.
November 11th.1915 He was promoted to Corporal and stationed in the First Batallion Infantry.
June 24th.1922 He was promoted to Temporary Sergeant First Class and moved to the Second Batallion Infantry.
July 18th.1925 He was promoted to Sergeant.
Hendricus Retired November 19th.1927 in MAGELANG.
He was Sharpshooter Pistol and Rifle First Class.
August 11th.1920 He married 30 years old,on August 11th.1920 in AMBARAWA Henriette Flora DE NEEF,born May 24th.1903 in PEKALONGAN.
They raised 2 Children:Daughter Emma Flora ORIE,born September 9th.1920 and a Son,Hendrikus Martinus ORIE,born February 28th.1922.
March 9th.1925 Hendricus ORIE divorced Henrietta DE NEEF in SEMARANG in the Dutch East Indies.
Hendricus died August 27th.1951 in TEGAL.
He is buried on the Local Cemetery.
