Married Baron DeKalb Stansell May 9, 1861. Children of the union include Joshua Calvin, Sarah (Sallie) Ann, Margaret Elizabeth (Lizzie). Emmett David, Mary (Mollie) Lomonia, Hettie Delonia, Colquitt, Ida Corrine, Lillian "Lillie" Melessia, James Elkin, and William Arthur.

Moved with her husband and children from Cobb County, Georgia to Cisco, Eastland County, Texas in 1885.
