Lillie Patty was a daughter of James and Mary (Weems) Shaw and was married to John Patty 14 May, 1910. They lived at Galena, Kansas until their deaths. She had four sisters, one brother, and a half brother. Lillie's husband, John Patty, worked in the lead and zinc mines and also the Galena Lead Smelter for many years. The family lived on Shaw Hill.

GALENA, Kan., — Services for Mrs. Lillie A. Patty, 82, 1108 Dewey Ave., who died at 11:05 p.m. Saturday in a Galena nursing home, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Sixth Street Baptist Church.

The Rev. L. A. Luton and the Rev. Ron Holz will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemtery (sic) under direction of Derfelt Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Clifford Miller, James Canady, Earl Ames, Clarence Wallace, Gale Sahw (sic) and Max Shaw.

Mrs. Patty was born Dec. 9, 1891, in Galena, where she was a lifetime resident. She married John E. Patty, in 1910 at Galena. He died April 11, 1953. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary A. (Pat) Schehrer, Miami, Okla., and Mrs. Inas Scott, Galena; a sister, Mrs. Daisy Moore, Galena, and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
