NOTE UPDATE April 19, 2015:--- It has now been 20 years, today, since the Oklahoma City bombing that killed 168 people, including 19 children. So many people were affected by this act of terror and had their lives disrupted and changed forever by the loss of their loved ones. If you ever have a chance to visit the memorial in Oklahoma City to pay your respects, it will mean a lot to you.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------In the Oklahoma City bombing, these are the children and the workers who were killed on the second floor in the America's Kids Child Development Center. There was also one visitor who was killed.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The Oklahoma City bombing was a terrorist bomb attack on the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995. It would remain the most destructive act of terrorism on American soil until the September 11, 2001 attacks. The Oklahoma blast claimed 168 lives, including 19 children under the age of 6 and injured more than 680 people. The blast destroyed or damaged 324 buildings within a sixteen-block radius, destroyed or burned 86 cars, and shattered glass in 258 nearby buildings.
