Plencner

Plencner is a variation of the name PLENZLER. Am seeking those related to PLENZLER. Most came from the Wiorek, Poland region (Poznan) to the US in the 1880s. Many settled in the Toledo, Ohio area; some migrated westward into Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Indiana. My great-grandfather, Joseph Plenzler, has relatives through at least four siblings that migrated further west than Ohio: John Plenzler (Plencner)--married Marianna Krych and settled in Middle River, Minnesota; Elizabeth Plenzler (Plencner) Zalas (m. Joseph)--settled in South Bend, Indiana; Catherine Plenzler Niemier--settled in South Bend, Indiana; and Kunegunda Plenzler Zalas (m. Stanislaw), settled in South Bend, Indiana. If you wish to share information, feel free to contact me. The Plenzler/Plencner family is very large, but it came from one very specific region of Poznan, Poland. Most are likely related--and are very tricky! The family often named its offspring alike! (Many Johns, Josephs/Jozefs, Marys/Mariannas.)
