My 2/26 Battalion Family

Men I have known, loved and admired, who fought and lived alongside my father, as members of the 2/26 Infantry Battalion, and later as Prisoners of War of the Japanese.Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your willingness to place your young lives in danger, in a bid to protect our country from enemy invasion.Your time in action was relatively short, but you managed to halt the march of the enemy until troops could be moved to New Guinea where the enemy was finally halted.
