The whereabouts of the Boehms' remains are unknown at this time. Mysteriously, Henry Richard and his parents Leopold F. and Josephine are listed in the 1946 Los Angeles Death Index between June 29-30 with the death date noted as "unknown" for all three. No DC numbers are listed and "R" for removal from the index is noted for each. Moritz Boehm, the last surviving child of Leopold & Josephine, died in Los Angeles in 1943. My theory is that he had their cremated remains in storage and they were discovered after his death. The LA Coroner has no record of a case investigation nor of any cremated remains with those names being given a county burial.
