They take off at a slow rate of speed driving up Route 61.11:47 pmA passerby and his girlfriend spot a fire burning at the side of the road as they are driving down Route 61. They discover Jeff’s truck, the cab on fire, and Jeff’s body in the bed of the truck.Sometime after midnightFiremen arrive at the scene and begin to retrieve water from the creek to extinguish the fire and discover Karen’s body face down in the edge of the creek.
