A Virtual Cemetery created by aye ain't

Transferred to Others

Beyond the simple listings and locations of graves; the intention was, and is, to find and add to the collected knowledge of the various families from whom we are descended, so that some record is made of their lives, the places where they lived, and where they were buried before it is lost. These families fanned out from Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, and Pennsylvania across the nation. All the graves may not be presently marked - death records and family histories are the best knowledge available in some cases. Locations have been vandalized, and some built upon. Mining, development, and new highways will continue to make the endeavor more difficult. Thanks to my extended cousins who have stepped up to maintain memorials for their family members. By keeping a list of the ones transferred on, it might be faster for me to re-visit and add flowers or other information found.
