Castle Gate Coal Mine Disaster in Castle Gate Cemetery

The town of Castle Gate was displaced by time. Very little remains except the cemetery. As in all coal towns sooner or later a coal mine catastrophe occurs and life is upside down for the inhabitants. Inevitably, new men go down in the old mine and life resumes. This cycle must have produced a different caste of person; rugged, independant and fearless.
