PLEASE VERIFY any and all requests for edit as well as plot information. You need proper documentation. I get my information from the Mortuary obituary. If the information is not in the obituary then you will need proper documentation. If you want a plot added, take a photo of the temporary grave marker, IF IT has the section and grave location on the marker or take a photo of the log book from the cemetery records that gives his/her information and then send it to [email protected]. I will not even consider written information. If you send, "Hi, I verified with the _________________ office that __________ is buried in the following plot: ___________________ Thanks." That is not verification. I am getting tired of allowing plots to be added and then turn around and having someone else send me a "correction" to what I just added. If you want to add a transcription of the headstone, please be sure you have a photo of the headstone added to the memorial. I won't add any transcriptions sight unseen. I'm sorry if this is an inconvenience for you, however, I just want to be correct in managing my memorials. If you cannot provide the proper documentation, for what you are wanting added or deleted, then the memorial stands as is. Please DO NOT post copies of birth certificates, death certificates or obituaries to the memorial. I will ask Find A Grave to delete them and I won't look at them. HOWEVER, you can send a copy to the above address and I will look at it then and make the desired changes. PROOF is what I ask for.
