Aaron William Anderson, 89, of Pleasant Grove. Utah, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at the home of his daughter in Highland, Utah. He was born November 12, 1922, in Poplar Grove (west side of SLC, Utah) to Charles Brynte and Annie Matilda Gerber Anderson. He married Stella Harvey and together they had seven children. They were later divorced. He married Ida Colleen Sloan on May 25, 1960, and together had a daughter.

A quiet, humble man, loved by all who knew him. He served his country in World War II serving in the Pacific. He worked at many occupations before settling on a career as an electrician where he worked for 45 years before retiring in 1993.

He is survived by nine children: Dean (Donna) Anderson, Salt Lake; Colleen (Milton) Breinholt, West Jordan; Judy Maynes, Sandy; Terry (Cyndie) Anderson, Sandy; Linda (Kurt) Brooks, West Jordan; Dennis Anderson, Mounds, OK; Karyn (Kevin) Maag, Highland; Bruce (Linda) Handley, Pleasant Hill, CA; Robert Handley, Springville and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Colleen and two sons: Curtis Anderson and Lary Handley.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Pleasant Grove Orchard Ward Chapel, 828 South Locust, Pleasant Grove where family and friends may attend a viewing from 9:30-10:45 am. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery under the direction of Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove.
