Elvera was born on June 19, 1930 in Fresno to Joseph and Nettie Armas. She passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at the age of 82, in South Padre Island, TX after a long battle with Lymphoma.

She worked for Steiger Construction, FMC Corporation and American Warehouse.

She will be remembered for her love of homemaking, gardening and her daily detailed reminders of things to accomplish.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Nettie Armas; brother, Donald Armas; and son-in-law, Petros Moutsos.

Elvera is survived by her daughters, Debbie Moutsos of South Padre Island, TX and JoAnn Graham of Manteca; son, Michael Minnick of Fresno and his wife Jacquilynne; granddaughters, Jen- nifer Graham of Port- land, OR, Gina Paulson and her husband Kevin of Portland, OR; great-grandson, Hunter Paulson; sister, Audrey Duzi; brothers, Harvey Armas and his wife Lillian and Gary Armas; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Farewell Funeral Service on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

A Recitation of the Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. A Graveside Service will follow St. Peter's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent in Elvera's name in support of her daughter, JoAnn Graham to Sjogren's Syndrome Foundation, 6707 Democracy Blvd., Ste. 325, Bethesda, MD 20817.
