Richard M. Park "Dick" 1932 ~ 2006 Our father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend passed away May 26, 2006 from the complications of a lingering illness. All of those who know him will miss him. He will be remembered as a great friend and hard worker. His children and the "coffee shop crowd" will especially miss him. Dick was born June 3, 1932 to John R and Margaret Larsen Park in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a young man he honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1952 to 1960. He was an avid water skier and hunter. In his later years, after retiring as owner and operator of Superior Fabrication & Supply, he enjoyed a good game of golf. He is survived by his children and stepchildren:; 25 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three brothers and four sisters. Preceded in death by both of his parents; one brother and one sister. Dad was one of those guys that was able to make anyone feel good because of his great sense of humor and playful wit. No one remained a stranger around him. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at the Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South, where Dick will be laid to rest next to his parents. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Midvale, Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. "Dad, we love you so much and will always miss you."
