Evan discovered he had leukemia in October 2011 when the symptoms appeared after playing a football game, a sport he loved. He received a bone marrow transplant in February; however Evan was confronted with one complication after another, and after a valiant, inspiring battle he finally had to give up the fight. Evan earned his wings in April 2012.
Evan is survived by his parents Mike and Kathy Donovan, Sister Allison, grandparents Barbara Donovan and Marlan and Rose Mary Holmes and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Jim Donovan.
