DANIEL W. (BILL) McDONALD

Mr. Daniel W. (Bill) McDonald, 70, of 708 Devon Drive departed from this life to be with his Lord on Dec. 15, 1996.

Funeral will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 1996, at Hanes-Lineberry, Vanstory Chapel. Burial will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.

Mr. McDonald was a member of the Church of God Faith. He was retired from Cone Mills and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II.

Survivors are daughters, Carol Theresa O'Neill, Phyllis Stanley, Jackie Honeycutt and Alice Mobley, all of Greensboro; brothers, Colen McDonald, Stancel McDonald and Tom McDonald, all of Rockingham; sister, Lena Mae Richardson of Aberdeen; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home and other times at 706 Devon Drive.
