Funeral Services for James Doyle Fussell, 66, a resident of Homeland, Florida, who passed away Friday , at his residence , will be held Sunday , at 2:30pm from the Homeland Baptist Church, with Rev. Glenn Collins and Rev. William L. Phillips, officiating. Internment will follow in Homeland Cemetery. Friends may call at the Whidden Funeral Home in Bartow, 7-9pm Saturday.
James' father, James, married Jane in 1903 per the 1910 census. By the 1920 census James the elder was married to Jenny Orchard and living with 3 children, Effie (whose mother is Jane), Leon and Doyle. Since it is unknown as to when Jane died or if Jane and James divorced we can not be certain as to whether James the younger and his brother Leon are children of Jane or Jenny.
