HARRISON D. COMER 83, of 4648 Willowbrook Dr., died at 10:20 PM Thursday, June 7, in Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Wellston, Ohio, on March 24, 1901, a son of William and Cora Schofield Comer, and had been a Springfield resident the past 60 years. Mr. Comer was retired from Robbins and Myers Company following 40 years of service. He was a member of U. A. W. Local 902. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Hounestine Comer, six sons, Lewis, of Columbus, Rev. Harrison, Perris, CA, Bobby, James, Donald, and Richard, all of Springfield; one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Avonelle) Wade, of Springfield; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Malloy, of Zanesville, Ohio, Mrs. Mary Klein, of London, and Mrs. Johnny (Eva) Myers, of Springfield, 18 grandchildren; 10, great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Sunday in the Austin Richards and Raff Memorial Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday in the Memorial Home with the Rev. G. Richard Cartwright officiating. Burial will be in Vale Cemetery.
