Lydia was born to Caroline nee Gruger and Karl Napoleon Wilhelm Jedel in Wolsely, Sk.

She married Edward Gregor on April 29, 1914 and they farmed in eastern Saskatchewan before moving to their homestead near Davidson, Sk.

Lydia and Edward had 9 children:
Carl
Ernie
Herbert
Dorothy
Irene
Walter
Leslie
James
Robert

In 1966 they retired from farming and moved into the town of Davidson where they were founding members of the Associated Gospel Church.

Edward passed away in 1985 and a few years later Lydia moved into the nursing home in Saskatoon where she passed away at age 93.
