She was born on September 19, 1941 in Hoxie, AR the daughter of John H. and Elnora (Williams) Hibbard. She married C. Dale Druien on September 29, 1959 in Como, IL. Brenda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Sterling. She was very active in genealogy and loved working in her flower garden and collecting antiques.
Surviving is her husband, Dale; two sons: David (Julie) Druien and Mark (Connie) Druien; her daughter, Lisa (Steven) Cvetko; her sisters: Judy (Ray) Hodges of Rockford, Freida Thompkins of Rock Falls, Nancy (Nicholas) Rodriguez of Jacksonville, NC and Sherry McLaren of Rock Falls; two brothers: Michael (Martha) Hibbard of Milledgeville, and Jack (Janice) Hibbard of Rock Falls; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister Barbara Nerstheimer.
Visitation will be held on Friday November 9, 2012 from 10 AM – 11:45 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Sterling. The funeral will follow at 12 noon at the church. Burial will be at Tampico Memorial Cemetery, Tampico. Arrangements by McDonald Funeral Homes.
