Michigan's Upper Peninsula was the setting for the wedding of Ida Quilici & Jim Goulette. The ceremony took place on November 26, 1938 in Iron Mountain,
Dickinson County. (names & spelling from Dickinson County Marriage Records 1891-)

Ida was a member & served as president twice, for the Italian Women's Club. The organization was formed April 15, 1915 in the Fornetti Hall on Iron Mountain's north side. Meetings were usually held at Benzo's Hall. The club held dinners & sold tickets. The cooking was done in the homes & the food then taken to the Northern Ballrooms on Brown Street by Mr. Oreste Stefani with his horse & wagon.
