Karl P. Plantarich Dies At Age Of 69
   Ill for some time, Karl P. Plantarich, 69, died yesterday afternoon at his home, 365 Blackman Street, City.
   Born in Larksville, he had been employed by Glen Alden Corporation many years and retired nine years ago as an outside foreman. Mr. Plantarich was a son of the late Joseph and Caroline Briehl Plantarich.
   During World War 1, Mr. Plantarich served with the Navy. He lived in Wilkes-Barre more than 40 years and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Landmark Lodge 442, F&AM; Keystone Consistory, Scranton; Irem Temple Shrine and Legion of Honor. He also was a member of American Legion Post 132, Wilkes-Barre.
   Surviving are his wife, the former Edith Jones; brother, John, Philadelphia; and several nieces and nephews.
   Services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 in St. John's Church with Rev. Clarence Schaffer officiating. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Graham Funeral Home, 324 South Franklin Street, Tuesday night, 7 to 9, and Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
