OBITUARY :
STANLEY A. HAHN, 74, Smithsburg R.D. 3, Md., died at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday at the Springfield Hospital near Baltimore. He had been in failing health for the last three years and was confined to the hospital since June, 1966.
Mr. Hahn was born at Smithsburg R.D. 3, Nov. 22, 1894, son of the late William and Hattie Bostick Hahn. All of his life had been lived in the Edgemont area.
As a young man he was employed by Western Union as linesman. He later worked in Waynesboro for Potomac Edison.
Prior to ill health forcing his retirement he had been self-employed
as a mason and in general maintenance work.
Mr. Hahn is survived by a son, Harold A. Hahn, Baltimore; two grandsons and three great-grandchildren. He was the last of his immediate family.
The funeral will be held Tuesday in the Grove Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. H. Clayton Moyer. Burial was made in Burns Hill Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
