CALDWELL — Services for Heber David Cole, 71, 1902 Oak St, who died Thursday at a local hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Flahiff Chapel.
The Rev. Edmund Stanton, of the First Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Cole was born Feb. 22, 1896, at Grant, and moved with his family as a child to Emmett. He was married to Rachel Ward on June 23, 1923, at Emmett, and they moved in 1933 to Caldwell where they have since resided.
He was the Caldwell city water-master from 1936 to 1942, and more recently was engaged in landscaping work until ill health forced his retirement. He was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel; a son, Ward Harvey Cole, Caldwell; two daughters, Mrs. Florence Hruska, Fort Lee, Va,, and Mrs. Phyllis Stott, Mount Vernon, Wash,; a brother, D. L. Cole, Boise; three sisters, Mrs. Jane Pierson, Portland, Mrs. Gladys Puser, Emmett, and Mrs. Vida Ward, Eagle; and eight grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Cancer Fund.
