He was born October 16, 1935 in Urbana, IL to Walter J. (Doc) and Marian Rideout Mumm. Mumm had served as Biometry Professor at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln for 23 tears.
Surviving are two sons, Henry R., Phillipines and James, Omaha, NE and three daughters, Marilyn Powers, Omaha, NE, Christina Mumm, Lincoln, NE and Tekina Mumm, Union, NE. Also surviving are two granddaughters, Crystel R. Porter, Boulder, CO and Jeanette M. Mumm, Omaha, NE.
Services will be conducted on Wed., May 1, at 3 p.m. at the Roper & Sons Chapel, 4300 'O' St., Lincoln, NE with Pator Duane Lenz officiating.
