Kenneth Chesemore, a 14-year St. Germaine resident, died Tuesday, September 26 in Eagle River Memorial Hospital at age 75.
Born in Janesville, Wis. March 26, 1903, Mr. Chesemore had been a resident in both St. Germaine and the town of Cloverland near Eagle River for a combined total of 20 years. He had previously lived in Janesville. He was owner-operator of Pine Haven Resort on Finley Lake and was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his wife Hazel; sons Gerald of Janesville, David of Fresno, Calif., and James of West Allis; and eight grandchildren.
A funeral service was Wednesday, September 27 at Gaffney Funeral Home in Eagle River with Rev. John Morrison officiating. Burial is to be in Oak Hill Cemetery of Janesville.
Memorials would be appreciated to the First Congregational U.C.C. Church of Eagle River or the American Cancer Society.
